I have been working recently on triple primed watercolor paper that is glued to composite wood panels.  It's a great surface if you like a smooth surface for your oil paintings.

 I was going to start this very "serious" painting of a strawberry today and all of a sudden I just felt like "I don't feel like being serious right now!"  I decided to do something very spontaneous and this was the results.  Like it or hate it, it was fun!

a little graphite pencil work for a change of pace.  

Really need to find the time to do more drawing besides the quick, 

get it to the canvas so I can start the painting part.

"Pear Pleasure" is painted with very thin and multiple layers

of color over many days.  Not exactly a fast technique but gives a 

wonderful luminosity to the painting.
